Description
This super fun and simple printable feelings bingo game is designed to increase self awareness and teach children to identify and understand their emotions. This game expands your child’s emotions vocabulary and also builds empathy as children learn to recognise and label emotions on the faces of others. It’s a great way to open up a discussion with your child about their own experience with different emotions.
Labelling emotions and recognising what they look like in ourselves and others is the first step in learning how to manage them. This game helps kids to recognise and label emotions through play and to develop empathy and self awareness. These are critical components of emotional intelligence and the key to our kids thriving and succeeding in life – now and in the future.
What’s Included in your Printable Feelings Bingo Set?
- 8 Bingo cards
- Set of 16 calling cards
- Set of 16 card markers
How to play:
Feelings Bingo is designed to be played with 2-8 players and is recommended for children 3 years and above.
One person is designated as the card caller. They pull out one emotion card at a time, calling out the emotion on the card. If children have a matching emotion on their game card, they place a card marker on it. The first person to mark 4 emotions in a row is the winner and can yell out BINGO!
Make this game even more fun by asking children to make the face on the card when they get a match OR, make them hold the face until their next turn! This is sure to result in lots of giggles!
